Terms and Conditions

It is expected that you know & understand Loan That Labels policies and comply with them.

 

REFUNDS

Once you have hired an item and an order number has been made, we do not offer any refunds. This includes if the item has or has not been collected.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have booked the correct item based on school & parental guidelines. We always recommend involving an adult in your decision making process prior to placing a booking.

It is your responsibility to select your size correctly. We cannot offer refunds for incorrect sizing or discomfort of the garments. We always recommend a try on before placing a booking.

We do not offer refunds on the following fees:

Postage Fee's
Late Fee's

 

CANCELLING/SWAPPNG ITEMS

1 month and more notice to event: eligible for 70% of hire price in a store credit

14 days and under notice to event: eligible for 60% of hire price in a store credit

7 days and under notice: eligible for 50% of the hire price in a store credit

3 days and under notice: eligible for 0% of the hire price in a store credit

 

STORE CREDIT'S

CREDITS EXPIRE AFTER 6 MONTHS.

When issued they are emailed to you (PLEASE CHECK JUNK)

*Credits can only be transferred to a family member with approval from LTL.

*Credits cannot be used for any late / damage fee's, ONLY DRESS HIRE'S OR PURCHASES.

​COVID 19

If your event has been cancelled due to Covid-19 we must receive evidence of this cancellation to be eligible to receive a 80% store credit. You must provide proof of a positive result if applicable.

 

PERTH PICKUP

The hirer will, at the hirers own expense, pickup and transport the item from our store.

The item will be in good condition upon pickup, with a normal and reasonable wear and tear of a rental garment expected. All items hold the businesses standard of quality and are fit for purpose.

Once an item is picked up, the customer has agreed to accept the garment in the condition that it is. If someone is collecting the garment on their behalf, they are
responsible to check over the garment and sign it out through out contract. Once the garment has been signed out and has left us, no compensation can be offered.

 

​RURAL/INTERSTATE POSTAGE

Postage bookings must be booked as a 5 day rental period, with the $40 shipping option selected at checkout.

 

Any postage bookings that are not booked as a 5 day hire OR have not paid for the correct shipping, will not be confirmed until all fee's due are paid. If you do not book the item correctly and decide you no longer want to go ahead with the booking (due to the extra fee's) , You will be issued & eligible for a 100% Store Credit due to incorrectly booking based on our advice.

If your item does not arrive in time due to Australia Post, you will receive a Store Credit for the hire price only. (Shipping fee is not included)

Returns rural/interstate need to be lodged in person at Australia Post by 1pm on the return day communicated to you. Please email or text us a picture of the proof of lodgement receipt you will receive from the counter.

Returns dropped in a post box will not be accepted, a $20 fee will be charged if this occurs.

Late fee of $20 will be charged for items lodged on the return day, however after the 1pm cut off.

 

RETURNS

We do not have a return box; all garments are to be returned in person during our opening hours.

Return times will be made aware to you by LTL staff depending on if your item is a 3-day or 5-day rental.

Failure to return the item within the hire period, will result in a late fee. For late returns made on the same day, a flat fee of $30 will be charged. Late returns made after the scheduled day, will be calculated at 50% of the items hire price per day.

If the item has not been returned within 3 days of the original return date, Loan That Label will post you on the name and shame
community on Facebook and will begin to take legal action.

If the item has not been returned within 7 days of the expected return date (either in or interstate). The full RRP will be charged until we receive the item back.

 

GARMENT CARE

The hirer will strictly not alter, modify, or attach anything to the item. This includes removing hanging ribbons and pinning the item. The item is to remain in the original state it was given in.

The hirer will be responsible for risk of loss, theft, damage, or destruction to the garment from any and every cause.

The hirer acknowledges and understands that if any small marks/stains occur during its wear, they are not to do anything to the garment. If the customer tries to spot clean or soak the item, there is a high risk it will cause extra damage to the item. There is no need for the hirer to attempt anything as Loan That Label
professionally cleans all items.

 

DAMAGE

Your item will be checked in person at your return. Loan That Label has the right to determine if damages upon return are major or minor.

Major damages include items needed replacement

Minor damages include, but are not limited to:

  • Excessive marks/staining (that will/have required additional dry cleaning
  • Rips, tears, holes
  • Fabric pills
  • Broken zips, straps, buttons, leg slits and clasps
  • Removing hanging ribbon's

 

Anything and everything that altered the condition of the item given to the hirer, will be a cost owed. Fees are decided after consultation with professional services.

These costs are decided by Loan That Label in conjunction with their on-site seamstress and professional dry cleaning and alterations services. Fees are decided within reasoning on the action required to return the item to its original state that aligns with our reputation and standard of quality of our garments.

If any fee's are owed, after notice by a LTL staff member the client has 3 days to pay. Failure to make payment within the time frame will result in Loan That Label taking the issue further, including but not limited to professional aid from Debt Collectors.

 

REPLACEMENT

This includes items that are beyond repairable. This can include but is not limited to any sort of fabric pills, major staining, beyond repairable rips/holes & anything that does not come out after 3 x dry cleans.

If the item is unable to be fixed, the full RRP of the item will be charged (this does not include the hire price paid). This is to be paid within 3 days of notice. Failure to make payment within the time frame will result in Loan That Label taking the issue further, including but not limited to professional aid from Debt Collectors.

It is up to Loan That Label to decide if the garment is to remain in the businesses possession or if the client will receive it.

 

​REUSABLE PACKAGING

​You must return all hangers and bags to us after your hire. A small fee will be charged if they are not. This can be refunded when you return it back to us.

 

DRESS INSURANCE OPTION

Dress Insurance is a new option offered by Loan That Label to simplify the rental process and provide additional protection for your rental garment. By selecting Dress Insurance for a fee of $30 at checkout, you are covered for up to $100 in additional costs incurred from extra dry cleaning, minor repairs, or related expenses during the rental period.

Please note that any costs exceeding $100, including the need for a replacement dress, additional repairs, or extensive cleaning, will be the responsibility of the renter.

Dress Insurance can only be added to your order during online checkout or in-store at the time of rental. Please be aware that the $30 fee is non-refundable, even if the dress is returned in perfect condition, as it covers the upfront cost of potential damages.

This new option is designed to simplify and streamline the rental process, offering peace of mind for those concerned about unexpected costs.
