By engaging, renting or purchasing from Loan That Label, you agree to comply with our policies and understand that these terms and conditions are binding. Failure to adhere to these terms will result in enforcement actions as deemed appropriate by Loan That Label.
REFUNDS
Once you have hired an item and an order number has been generated, refunds will not be provided under any circumstances. This policy applies regardless of whether the item has been collected.
It is your responsibility to ensure the item booked adheres to any applicable guidelines. We strongly recommend consulting with an adult before making a booking.
Correct sizing is your responsibility. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect sizing or discomfort. We recommend trying on the garment before placing a booking.
We do not offer refunds on the following fees:
- Hire Fees
- Try-on Fees
- Postage Fees
- Late Fees
CANCELLING/SWAPPING ITEMS
- 1 month or more notice before the event: Eligible for 70% of hire price in a store credit.
- 14 days or less notice before the event: Eligible for 60% of hire price in a store credit.
- 7 days or less notice before the event: Eligible for 50% of the hire price in a store credit.
- 3 days or less notice before the event: Eligible for 0% of the hire price in a store credit.
STORE CREDITS
- Credits expire after 6 months.
- When issued, credits are emailed to you (please check your junk/spam folder).
- Credits can only be transferred to a family member with approval from Loan That Label.
- Credits cannot be used for late or damage fees; they are only applicable for dress hires or purchases.
COVID-19
If your event is cancelled due to COVID-19, evidence of this cancellation is required to receive an 80% store credit. Proof of a positive COVID-19 test result is necessary if applicable.
PERTH PICKUP
The hirer is responsible for picking up and transporting the item from either our Applecross or Leederville store at their own expense.
Items are inspected for quality and condition upon pickup. The customer agrees to accept the garment in its current condition once it leaves the store. If someone collects the garment on your behalf, they must check over the garment and sign it out. Once the garment is signed out and has left the premises, no compensation will be offered for any issues.
RURAL/INTERSTATE POSTAGE
Postage bookings must be made for a 5-day rental period with the $40 shipping option selected at checkout.
Bookings not adhering to the 5-day rental or correct shipping payment will not be confirmed until all due fees are paid. If you cancel due to these fees, you will receive a 100% store credit.
If your item does not arrive on time due to Australia Post, you will receive a store credit for the hire price only (shipping fee excluded).
Returns for rural/interstate rentals must be lodged in person at Australia Post by 1pm on the return day. Proof of lodgement must be emailed or texted to us. Returns dropped in a post box will incur a $20 fee. A $20 late fee will be charged for items lodged after the 1pm cut-off on the return day.
RETURNS
All garments must be returned in person during our opening hours at either our Applecross or Leederville store.
Return times will be communicated by Loan That Label staff via a pickup email. Failure to return the item within the hire period will result in late fees. A flat fee of $30 applies for late returns on the same day. For returns after the scheduled day, a fee of 50% of the hire price per day will be charged.
Failure to return the item within 3 days of the original return date will result in public posting and potential legal action. If the item is not returned within 7 days, the full RRP will be charged.
GARMENT CARE
The hirer must not alter, modify, or attach anything to the item. Any such alterations will result in charges.
The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the garment. Attempting to clean minor marks or stains is prohibited as it may cause further damage.
DAMAGE
Items will be inspected upon return. Loan That Label will determine if damages are major or minor.
- Major damages require item replacement.
- Minor damages include excessive marks, stains, rips, tears, holes, fabric pills, broken components, and removal of hanging ribbons.
Costs for damages are determined by Loan That Label in consultation with professional services. Fees must be paid within 3 days of notice. Failure to pay will result in further action, including debt collection.
REPLACEMENT
Items deemed beyond repair will incur charges up to the full RRP. Payment is due within 3 days of notice. Loan That Label will decide whether the garment remains in the business’s possession or is given to the client.
REUSABLE PACKAGING
Hangers and bags must be returned. A small fee will be charged for non-returned items, refundable upon their return.
DRESS INSURANCE OPTION
Dress Insurance is available for a $30 fee, covering up to $100 in additional costs for dry cleaning, minor repairs, or related expenses. Costs exceeding $100 are the renter's responsibility. The insurance fee is non-refundable and can be added at checkout or in-store at the time of rental.
LTL OUTLET
Sale items from LTL OUTLET are final and not eligible for returns or refunds.
